Welcome to the MyBloop blog!
MyBloop may be The World’s File Storage, but that doesn’t mean it has to be as boring as it sounds.
This is why we have decided to launch the MyBloop blog. That way, you will get know all of us a little better and we hope that we will get to know all of you a little better as well.
Since I will be maintaining this blog more than any of the other MyBloop members (don’t be mad at them, they’re just too busy programming new features and fixing bugs), I will let you know what my ideas are for this blog:
- News updates: will mainly consist of entries like this one, but will also link to any news on MyBloop.
- Community: We’ll talk about MyBloop members, from our regular users to the artists that have decided to share their work with all of us by uploading their sweat and tears to MyBloop.
- Links of the week: Technically falls under the category of community, but basically a list of our favorite MyBloop uploads: music, videos, pictures, art, text, and everything else we’ll consider worth sharing.
So now that we’ve all shed tears together, I will move on to the first post!

Idea # 1 – RSS

I would like to Get updates on individual peoples uploads when I subscribe to their pages.
Idea # 2 – Torrents

I would love to be able to Download torrents via mybloop and get files directly onto my account without needing to upload from my computer (just like furk.net)
Idea # 3 – a flashget like File manager

It would be great is all I had to do was right click a file on my browser and save files directly onto my bloop
(e.g. Download via mybloop/download on mybloop etc.)
Idea # 4 – The Myblooploader sucks

i know the desktop uploader is in beta, but it crashes like 9/11 and doesn’t upload squat from my computer! But I think you should make the same features available on the flash uploader such as: Pause, Pause all, Resume etc.
It’s annoying not to be able to pause and resume uploading when ever I open a previous session in my browser.
Idea # 5 – privacy issue

Tough the privacy is obviously a great feature on the site it’s also a pain in the ass because you need to give anyone you know the links to individual files you wanna give them… Why!?
why not just make a page available for them so that only frieads and family can access private folders and certain files are visible to certain friends of my choosing….
So hidden folders aren’t seen by pubic bloopers but can be seen by my friends that I’ve added or given the link to, this way I don’t have to send anyone I know the links to separate files… that could become quite tiresome if you have many files only mates should see.
I hope you take these into consideration and put them on the drawing board because I would think everyone would benefit from them.
